ValveCaps Silicone Thread Grease 5ml

A handy little 5ml sachet of silicone grease that is used to prevent aluminium valve caps from seizing onto metal (brass or stainless steel) tyre valve stems. This can sometimes happen when ‘bi-metallic corrosion’ occurs between two dissimilar metals, i.e: the threads of the valve stem and valve cap, as a direct result of the materials coming into contact with road salt or aggressive wheel cleaning chemicals.

Simply tear the sachet open and apply a small amount of silicone grease to the thread of each valve stem before attaching the valve cap.
